About Rowan Cottage

Centrally heated, Rowan Cottage has one large double bedroom on the second floor with view over the countryside, and one twin bedded room on the first floor. There is a large bathroom which includes a separate shower. A travel cot, high chair and push chair are also available on request at no extra charge.

The Kitchen

is equipped to make your stay hassle-free; in the cupboards you will find everything from salt, pepper, home- produced honey, herbs and spices. All guests are welcome to use these, but please either replace or let us know if anything runs out. The equipment includes, in addition to the basics, microwave, fat free grill, electric mixer, coffee maker, dishwasher and washer & dryer in the cellar.

The Lounge/Diner

With a beautiful coal effect fire as its centre, the lounge has a flat screen TV/DVD Player, Radio with CD Player and a good selection of games, books and local guides and maps. Please feel free to borrow any of these. There is a drop-leaf table and chairs which seats four.

Garden

Steps down to a small enclosed garden with table and chairs and BBQ.

Dogs very welcome

We welcome one dog (2 by arrangement) and have even provided dog bowls and an outside hose (for very muddy dogs after their walks)! You will find throws in the lounge, for added comfort for you and your dog (and protection for the furniture)
