In the heart of the Peak District, Between Buxton and Bakewell, with excellent walks from the door; notably: Tideswell Dale, Millers Dale, Cressbrook Dale and Monsal Head.

Attractions nearby:

Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Matlock Bath, Dove Dale, Kinder, Eyam Moor, Monsal Dale, Monsal Head, and many more.

In the summer, Tideswell is most famous for its well dressing, whilst over Christmas there are a range of activities such as carols in the caves at Castleton and Christmas markets.

In the village you will find a thriving range of facilities – including a butcher, baker, flower and vegetable shop, local produce dairy shop, Co-op, a bank and post office, choice of several pubs, two excellent cafés, and two traditional Fish and Chip shops.

We are promoting www.shopintideswell.co.uk on the Visit Tideswell website – a local delivery scheme run by Phil Stafford which allows people to order produce online from local shops and have it delivered to their door.
